Youth Concert 2015
A musical performance with the intent to propagate and inculcate Buddhist teachings to the audience.
Portrayed through live skits; expressed through songs, dramatic acting and the various musical instruments. All these will seamlessly fused to simulate the uncertainties and turbulent nature of Life in our Samsaric World.
Audience will be able to relate the bigger picture of This Life and, possibly, identify and connect themselves individually with the many facets of his or her own life journey. All these will be grasped through the dynamic and artistic expressions of this Show.
Venerable Heng Sure will lead the show. Other than lecturing on Buddha Dharma, Venerable Heng Sure is well-know to convey the Teachings of the Buddha through music. Armed with his ever-present guitar and his wondrous voice, the Venerable will explain the Dharma and convey the Buddhist teachings through the unorthodox way of music to help bring forth our faith and realise our potential in our Awakening.
青年音乐会
这是一场以宣扬佛教教义为宗旨的音乐会。通过生活小品的诠释、歌曲的唱诵、戏剧的表演，再配上各种不同的乐器所演奏出来的音乐，反映出我们所处的这个娑婆世界是无常与动荡的。
这些贴切生活的艺术表演，能令观众对生命旅途中的各种现象产生共鸣。
尊敬的恒实法师是音乐会的主导人。除了善于授课演讲之外，法师也擅长寓教义于音乐。他那把永不离身的吉他，能唤醒我们的菩提善根；他那口温柔慈悲的声音，能引领我们朝觉悟之路前进。
Venerable Heng Sure
Venerable Heng Sure, an American Buddhist monk, is a senior monastic disciple of the late Venerable Master Hsuan Hua. He is currently the Director of the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery, a branch monastery of the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association. Venerable Heng Sure is probably best known for his three steps, one bow pilgrimage, from South Pasadena to Ukiah, California, a distance of 800 miles, seeking world peace. The pilgrimage took two years and six months from 1977 to 1979.
Venerable received his MA in Oriental Languages from University of California, USA. He obtained his PhD from Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California, USA.
恒实法师
恒实法师是已故宣化上人的高徒，现任法界佛教总会在伯克利一家寺院的住持。法师曾经为了祈愿世界太平，在1977至1979年，用两年半时间，以三步一拜的虔诚方式，从南帕萨迪纳出发，一直拜到800英里外加利福尼亚州的尤凯亚。
恒实法师是美国加州大学东方语言文学硕士，也是美国伯克利联合神学研究院的博士。
