新加坡佛教总会为庆祝2018(佛历2562)年卫塞节,将于5月20日（星期天）假乌节路义安城购物中心举办素食义卖会，
日期：5月20日（星期天）
时间：早上十点至下午五点
地点：乌节路义安城购物中心
佛教会将参与此项活动，希望各界人士到场支持。本会也代售义卖会固本，欢迎购买。
卫塞节八关斋
八关斋戒是佛陀为在家弟子所制定，使在家二众趣向出离，而种解脱之善根。
受者要遵守八条清净戒律，为时一日一夜。
持戒精进能播下出世的正因，早日获致解脱，免于生死轮迥。
祝愿发心同修者在受持八关斋戒后智慧增长，道业早成。

Vesak Food Fair
In conjunction with the celebration of Vesak 2018（2562）, the Singapore Buddhist Federation organises a Vesak Food Fair. The Buddhist Union will be participating in this event, and we look forward to your support.

Vesak Day Eight Precepts
The Eight Precepts is code of ethics laid down by Buddha for lay Buddhists to aid in their spiritual practice, experiencing short-term monastic life.
Observing the Eight Precepts helps one eradicate negative karma and it is significantly auspicious to be able to observe the Eight Precepts on Vesak Day.
May this short retreat enhance your wisdom and happiness.
