The Ten Great Vows of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva 普贤菩萨十大愿
“The Ten Great Vows of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva” from The Avatamsaka Sutra, Chapter 40 is a much revered text from the Mahayana Canon.
The lectures delivered in English by Venerable Chuan Guan will discuss on thee Great Vows of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and how we can apply them in our daily life. It has become a leading guideline for aspiring Buddhist practitioners.

Conducting Venerable
Venerable Chuan Guan Venerable Chuan Guan was ordained under Master Miu King (Master Miao Jing 妙境長老) in 2002 (higher ordination in 2003) and began his monastic training in Fa Yun Monastery (New Mexico, United States). He learned the sutras and practised meditation under the Mahayana Buddhist tradition while studying the Theravadin Pali Canon.
2006 onwards, he continued his training under Ven. Kwang Sheng in Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) and served in the Buddhist Library as a resident monk from July 2009 to June 2013,
He currently conducts Dharma and meditation classes while providing counselling and spiritual services at KMSPKS and other Buddhist centres. Prior to monkhood, he received his degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and worked in the IT industry.
