《药师经讲记》
《药师经》主要是在阐扬如来是大医王，因病给药。我们知道很多地方都有举办药师法会，众生因为怕老，病，死，参加的人都是来拿药师咒水，希望能消灾免难。印顺导师在《药师经讲记》提出了几个重点：
人的生理上有三种病——老，病，死；心理上也有三种病——贪，嗔，痴。所以，病不单是有生理的病，还有心理的病。导师一针见血指出佛是大医王，是大药师，为了拔除众生身心的种种病患，能因病给药。同时，也让我们知道治病要治标，也要治本。
讲师
长清法师出生于新加坡。1989年出家，随后受三坛大戒。于同年秋时，赴台湾国立大学攻读中文系，并于1993年获取学士学位。之后，又往英国布里斯托大学宗教系修读佛学博士课程，并于1998年获得博士学位。返回新加坡后，曾被大专学府受邀演讲佛法。
Commentary on Sutra of Medicine Buddha
This Course will be conducted in Mandarin by Venerable Dr Chang Qing, PhD. and is based on Ven Yin-Shun’s book, Commentary on Sutra of Medicine Buddha (印顺导师《药师经讲记》)
The essence of the Sutra of Healing Buddha is to emphasise that the Buddha is a great Physician who offers medication to sentient beings for their sickness. Many buddhist temples/ centres observe this religious liturgy. Sentient beings are fearful of ageing, sickness and death. Hence, many participants would collect the water of the Healing Buddha’s Mantra after the Dharma Function hoping that it would help them eradicate their sufferings.
Master Yin-Shun explicated “From the biological and physical perspective, similarly, human beings have three classification of illnesses namely ageing, sickness and death. From the psychological perspective, similarly, there is also three other classification namely greed, hatred and ignorance.” Master Yin-Shun had indicated that the Buddha is a great Physician as well as a remarkable Pharmacist. The Buddha provides medication to sentient beings as a remedy for the illnesses of both the body and the mind. Thus, the prescriptions of the Healing Buddha not only alleviate the sufferings of physical and biological pains but it could also treat psychological sickness as well.
